Projects
Projects let you group related tickets together and control who can access them.
What is a project?
A project is a container for tickets, sprints, and team members. Common uses include one project per product, one per client, or one per team. Tickets always belong to exactly one project. Sprints are also scoped to a single project.
Creating a project
- Go to Projects in the sidebar.
- Click + New Project.
- Enter a name and an optional description.
- Click Create. You are automatically added as a member.
Managing project members
Open the project and go to the Members tab. You can add any existing user in your company to the project. Customers added to a project can submit tickets into it and track those tickets.
Removing a member from a project does not delete their tickets — it only removes their access to the project going forward.
Project settings
From the project detail page (Admins only) you can:
- Rename the project or update its description.
- Archive (deactivate) the project — archived projects are hidden from default views but their tickets remain intact.
- Delete the project (permanently deletes all associated tickets and sprints).
Filtering tickets by project
On the Tickets page use the Project filter dropdown to see only tickets from a specific project. You can also select the active project from the header dropdown — this syncs the project context across the Tickets and Sprints pages.
